"Defeated by Chaos" (the ONLY song that will ever be released under this moniker) is an intense slab of melodic black metal in the Swedish vein, filled with epic, sorrowful melodies and ultra-fast, hyper-blasting drums.
The song is NOT a tribute to chaos as a sentient, metaphysical entity (in the typical Dissection fashion), but rather a brutally honest depiction of having your certainties and your own identity stripped away by the chaos of life, in all its enigmatic unpredictability. Unknowable. Unreachable. Uncontrollable. Ineffable, indeed.
